We’re looking for reliable and motivated Bin Maintenance/Truck Drivers to join our Team.

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you’ll help keep our community clean and well-presented by delivering efficient bin maintenance services and responding to public enquiries in a friendly and professional manner. Your day-to-day work will include:

Operating trucks and other Council equipment

Servicing and emptying street litter and recycling bins

Sweeping and trimming footpaths

Assisting with amenities cleaning and other public space maintenance

Safely/respectfully collecting and disposing of deceased animals from Council-managed areas, as required.

What We’re Looking For:

Current MR Driver’s Licence

Ability to perform a variety of cleansing and maintenance tasks

Strong work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision

Competence in routine vehicle servicing and safety checks, with timely reporting of any issues

Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills (Year 10 level or equivalent)

A team player with a customer-focused approach
