Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on diagnostic abilities and attention to detail. As a mechanic at Performance 4x4, you will play a crucial role in assisting us to continue to deliver the high standards of service and workmanship we are known for.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in diesel vehicles

Fitment of performance parts to diesel vehicles.

Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify underlying problems and develop effective repair solutions.

Use specialised tools and equipment to perform repairs and adjustments according to manufacturer specifications.

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.

Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory.

Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanic, with a minimum of 3 years working on diesel engines.

Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve problems.

Knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions controls.

Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver's license.
