The Opportunity

We’re seeking a trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic who takes pride in diagnostics, clean workmanship, and proper documentation. You’ll service and repair a varied mix of vehicles, collaborate with admin on quotes/parts, and help lift apprentice capability.

What You’ll Do

Diagnose, service, and repair light vehicles (engine, brakes, suspension, steering, driveline)

Electrical and A/C work (fault-finding, components, re-gassing if licensed)

Complete job notes, photos, and parts in our digital job system

Road-test, QC your work, and support defect inspections

Work with admin on ETAs, estimates, and updates

Keep the workshop safe, tidy, and organised; mentor juniors when needed

What You’ll Bring

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620 or equivalent)

3+ years post-trade (dealership or independent)

Strong diagnostics and electrical basics; scan tool experience

Reliable, thorough, and team-minded communicator

Manual driver’s licence (A/C licence or roadworthy/COI a plus)

Roster

Week 1: Monday–Thursday (4 days)

Week 2: Monday–Saturday (½-day Saturday)
