Moment by Moment (MBM) is a small Occupational Therapy business located in Waterloo providing mobile and telehealth services to their clients. MBM is dedicated to assisting and supporting paediatric clients to achieve their goals and they take pride in creating transformative moments for every child they work with.

MBM is focused on working collaboratively with families, educators, and other health professionals to enhance children’s’ wellbeing and developmental health with a holistic, family-centred approach.

MBM are seeking an experienced mobile Occupational Therapist to join the team. You will be working with long-term and new clients aged between 0-17 years, with appointments based at schools, day-care, client homes and via telehealth. MBM clients are located across the Waterloo, Sydney City, and neighbouring suburbs.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director/Senior OT responsibilities of the role will include:

· Provide Occupational Therapy services to children aged 0-17, completing assessments, continuing plans that are already in place and developing new plans as needed.

· Use a family centric, strengths-based approach to identify the client’s abilities and evaluate developmental challenges.

· Design, document and implement treatment plans to address goals and objectives.

· Work closely with and communicate with a client's care team, including other allied health professionals and advisers regarding treatment plans.

· Work closely with carers and families in the development and review of plans.

· Provide excellent service delivery, care, education, and support to families.

· Manage the administration, case notes, reports and client communication in a timely manner.

About You

MBM are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Therapist who has a passion for making a difference in their young client’s life.

As a friendly, compassionate, and professional therapist you will be empathetic, able to build rapport quickly with children and enjoy supporting clients to maximise their growth and development.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, have a family-centred approach and the ability to think on your feet to co-regulate children and provide support for parents.

MBM pride themselves on the strong relationships that has been built with their clients and families, with connection and care being extremely important. Candidates will need to embody and continue this vision with current and new clients.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with SOS Feeding Approach and DIR Floortime.

The Musts

· Relevant bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy

· Current registration as an Occupational Therapist

· Experience working with a diverse range of children and client needs

· Specialised experience in paediatrics and mental health

· Sensory integration training is essential

· Excellent communication and report writing skills

· Energetic, fun, and caring therapist

· Current driver's license and reliable car

· NDIS workers screening

· Current Police Check and Working with Children’s Check

· Professional Indemnity Insurance

· Ability to work autonomously
