Job Purpose

Formwork carpenter is an integral part of our team, contributing to the successful and efficient delivery of construction projects at LP Jon. This position requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in formwork carpentry and structural preparation for concrete works.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Formworker include but are not limited to:

Constructing and assembling formwork structures for concrete pouring in accordance with technical drawings and project specifications.

Measuring, cutting, and shaping timber and other materials with precision using hand and power tools.

Ensuring all structures are level, aligned, and meet quality and safety standards.

Repairing and maintaining existing fittings as required throughout the job lifecycle.

Key Requirements

To qualify for this role, the candidate must possess:

Qualifications: Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent as per ANZSCO requirements.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in formwork or general carpentry.

Skills: Proficient in using hand tools and power tools; ability to work accurately under pressure; reliable and safety conscious.

Knowledge: Understanding of formwork drawings, Australian building standards, and site safety practices.

Language Proficiency: Competent English communication skills (spoken and written).

Other Requirements: White Card and valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
