The Role

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher/tutor to join our long-established Point Cook campus, which has been proudly serving the local community for over 20 years. This is an ongoing casual role, with Sunday afternoon classes for small groups of motivated students.

You’ll help students develop a love for the English language, guiding them to improve reading, writing, and analytical skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.

What You’ll Do

Deliver engaging English lessons following EQDemic’s structured teaching materials

Adapt lessons to cater to various learning levels (Primary to Secondary)

Provide constructive feedback and communicate student progress

Contribute to a positive, creative, and supportive learning environment

About You

You love language and literature and enjoy sharing that passion with students

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Responsible, motivated, and open to continuous improvement

Previous teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, but capable university students are also welcome

Skilled online teaching experience highly regarded

Requirements

Current VIT Registration or Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Availability on Sunday afternoons at the Point Cook campus
