We are proud to be representing a Brisbane-based leading design and manufacturer within the Waste and Water Treatment Turn Key solutions space. They have been pioneering and paving the way forward by embracing the latest technology, implementing leading edge processes and ensuring the Industry pays attention for utilising best practice methodologies servicing private and public sectors clients for over three decades.

A rare opportunity to join a lean, hands-on team where your input won't be lost in layers of bureaucracy. You'll be directly involved in shaping new processes and systems — and will see your work translate into tangible outcomes with sustainable impact.

This is not a clipboard-and-meetings position — it's suited to an engineer who enjoys being in the thick of it, liaising with vendors, troubleshooting with operators, reviewing schematics and commissioning.

An established and self-driven Project Engineer to lead projects from start to finish — integrating new-generation chemical dosing and instrumentation production technology into Water Treatment plants (WTP), commercial pools and other industrial or water treatment applications.

You'll take ownership of various Waste and water treatment projects, being involved from inception to building the framework of delivery, assessing risk, creating and implementing the scope and schedule, managing the budget all the whilst while being the key stakeholder manager. Taking ownership from start to finish, you will have the support of Senior Projects and technical managers who have delivered similar works, but you will be expected to deliver these projects safely, efficiently, and to specification with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

You'll be driving delivery from design and procurement through to installation, commissioning, and optimisation.

To be considered, you must possess:

· Practical experience in project delivery within manufacturing or process environments

· Successfully delivered WTP maintenance projects from design through commissioning, with the confidence to work independently and the adaptability to thrive in a lean environment

· Proven delivery across procurement, supplier engagement, installation, and commissioning

· Technical fluency — confident reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and P&IDs

· Stakeholder agility — able to work seamlessly with operators, vendors, and internal teams

· Hands-on mindset — sleeves rolled up, solving problems in real time

· Pragmatic leadership — low-ego, collaborative, and outcome-focused

***Project Design and Delivery Experience with chemical dosing, commercial pools and other industrial or water treatment applications would be a clear advantage ***

What's on Offer:

This is a chance to see your work contribute directly to outcomes with local environmental relevance. You'll join a forward-thinking team where your input is valued, your ideas are heard, and your results are recognised!

· This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity for the right person to be considered for a permanent appointment.

· Work on leading-edge nanomaterial production technology with applications across multiple industries, including biomedical, defence, aerospace and mining.

· A role where hands-on engineering meets actual project ownership — no layers of red tape

· A collaborative culture that encourages initiative, accountability, adaptability, and problem-solving

· A clear pathway to future opportunities as the business continues to expand

· Strong remuneration package based on relevant experience and supported by progressive employment conditions

· Brisbane-based facility – Sites within 25 klm radius (approx.) - work close to home!

This role will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Due to the high level of security and vetting, the role is only open to Australian citizens and Permanent residents (PR).
