• 2nd Class Welders: $42.00 $45.00 per hour + penalties
• Boilermakers: $52.00 - $55.00 per hour + penalties
• Workshop role with some site work available
• 40 hours per week and overtime available as required

The Company:
Join a leading company with extensive experience in the building and structural steel building industries. They specialise in the structural steel components for single and multi-level pre-fabricated buildings for education, mining, accommodation and buildings in general

The Role:

• Weld steel all day - MIG mainly, flat, vertical, overhead
• Read drawings and weld symbols and actually make it happen
• Cut, grind, tack, fit, and fab metal like a pro
• Keep an eye on your welds - if it ain’t solid, fix it
• Spot dodgy gear or tools and give the boss a heads up
• Keep your kit sorted, leads tidy, tools sharp, bench clean
• Follow safety - PPE on, no shortcuts, watch your mates
• Work with the crew, smash deadlines, get the job done
• Must pass the on-site MIG weld test - no excuses

About you:

• 2+ years welding/fab experience - you know your way around steel
• Structural Steel background
• Can read drawings and welding symbols without looking lost
• Positive, can-do attitude - ready to get stuck in

Benefits:

• Good pay – $42–$45/hr for 2nd Class Welders, $52–$55/hr for Boilermakers, plus penalties
