Reporting to the Head of Boarding and Wellbeing, these roles will manage our Senior Female and Male Houses on Church Street, Richmond. As our Boarding House Managers, you will be supported by a dedicated team comprising of an Assistant Manager and Boarding Coordinators.
The fostering of a safe and inclusive community with a strong culture which is based on the school values of Respect, Courage, Culture and Care is a core part of the role.
To be successful you need to be able to demonstrate substantial experience in a Senior Boarding Management or Residential Care role. Partnered with experience in active student supervision of young people and understand the reasonable and necessary care required to support young people through their boarding and education programs. You will be available on weekdays and weekends and able to contribute through a mix of evening and day shifts. Previous experience working with indigenous youth will be highly regarded.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Experience in supervision in a residential environment such as Boarding, Teaching or as a Residential Support which may include relevant certificate or other training;
Experience working with Indigenous students with respect for their cultures and a demonstrated desire to work in the spirit of reconciliation;
Deep experience building relationships of trust and mutual understanding with students;
Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain;
Current First Aid and CPR qualification or willingness to obtain;
Current Full Australian Driver’s licence
