ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you an organised, technically minded maintenance professional who thrives on streamlining and improving complex operations? Wodonga TAFE is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple campuses.
This role is central to ensuring our facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in line with our asset management strategy, compliance obligations, and sustainability objectives. You’ll use data, digital tools, and collaboration to deliver smart, proactive maintenance outcomes - enabling our teaching and learning environments to perform at their best.
Selected Duties:
Plan, prioritise, and schedule maintenance operations for timely and effective service delivery.
Manage service requests and ensure effective communication and closure.
Analyse maintenance trends and asset data to drive continuous improvement and reduce reactive work.
Ensure compliance with Essential Safety Measures (ESM), WHS, and building regulations.
Contribute to capital project planning, asset renewals, and operational readiness reviews.

Skills & Experience

Relevant trade qualification or equivalent, experience in facilities, asset management, or building services.
Proven experience coordinating maintenance programs across a large or multi-site organisation.
Proficiency in CMMS platforms, work order management, and digital asset systems.
Strong understanding of ESM compliance, WHS, and facility regulatory frameworks.
Excellent administrative, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable: Post-trade qualification, diploma, or formal training in facilities management or related discipline.
Desirable: Experience in developing or implementing preventative maintenance strategies or asset lifecycle planning.
Desirable: Exposure to data-driven maintenance practices (e.g., predictive or condition-based monitoring).
