MyVisa® is a leading Australian immigration law firm led by Lawyer Principal Nilesh Nandan, with offices across Australia and clients worldwide. We specialise exclusively in immigration and visa law — from partner visas and skilled migration to employer sponsorships, cancellations, and appeals before the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART).

We’re expanding our legal team and seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-driven Solicitor to join our practice based full-time at our Pitt Street Head Office in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-performance legal environment, enjoys client contact, and wants to make a real difference in people’s lives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide immigration legal advice and prepare submissions for visa, sponsorship, and review applications.

Manage a caseload across partner, employer, protection, and skilled visa matters.

Represent clients before the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) and liaise with the Department of Home Affairs.

Draft detailed legal submissions, review departmental correspondence, and advise clients on strategy.

Collaborate closely with colleagues and clients in our Pitt Street office.

Maintain accurate time and file management consistent with professional obligations.

About You

You are a capable and conscientious immigration lawyer who:

Holds or is eligible to hold an Australian practising certificate.

Has 1–3 years’ post-admission experience (preferably in immigration or administrative law).

Demonstrates strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.

Communicates clearly and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a structured, office-based environment.

Experience in the following is advantageous:

ART or Federal Circuit Court matters.

Complex partner or protection visa applications.

Use of Migration Manager or similar case management systems.
