About the role

Marsden Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to join our growing team. This is a full-time, part-time or casual role based in our Marsden Park, NSW clinic. As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to our diverse range of clients, contributing to the overall success and development of our speech therapy practice.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify client needs and develop personalised treatment plans

Provide effective, evidence-based speech therapy interventions to clients of all ages, including children, adolescents and adults

Candidates must have specific experience treating paediatric clients

Minimum 2+ years of paediatric speech pathology experience is required, Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as occupational therapists and physiotherapists, to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to client care

Maintain detailed client records and documentation in accordance with professional standards

Contribute to the growth and development of the speech therapy practice through participation in team meetings, training and continuous improvement initiatives

Provide supervision and mentorship to junior speech pathologists and therapy assistants

What we're looking for

A recognised degree or qualification in Speech Pathology

2+ years of experience as a Speech Pathologist, preferably in a clinical setting

Clinical setting experience is preferred but we are flexible with candidates from other backgrounds

Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-quality, evidence-based speech therapy interventions across a range of client populations and age groups

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with clients, families and other healthcare professionals

Strong problem-solving and clinical reasoning skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Registration with the Speech Pathology Australia and a current police clearance

Current Speech Pathology Australia registration must be held at time of application

Candidates must hold any valid Australian work rights
