At Econium Steel, we are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with Structural Steel knowledge to join our team in VIC. You will be responsible for understanding and calculating the design, strength, and rigidity of steel structures. These structures include buildings, stairwells, and other factories.

Main tasks include:

Studying architectural and engineering drawings and specifications to estimate total costs and preparing detailed cost plans and estimates as tools to assist in budgetary control.

Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, and measuring, valuing, and negotiating variations to designs.

Checking plans and drawings to enable fabrication

Liaise with team to procure materials for fabrication.

Supervising the fabrication of steel structures.

Deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in structural steel engineering

$87,500 - $107,500 + Superannuation
