Clinical Nurse
Seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Nurse within a modern, purpose-built aged care residence located in Hobart

This rewarding position offers the opportunity to demonstrate your clinical leadership, mentoring, and education skills while supporting the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in a small-house model environment.

• Provide daily oversight, clinical guidance, and coordination of care for residents, working collaboratively with the Care Manager and on-floor Registered Nurses.
• You will report to both the Director of Nursing and Care Manager in this position.
• You will play a key role in supporting staff development and ensuring evidence-based best practice across the team.
• Permanent Part time position - 8 days per fornight
• Potential for weekends, nights, on-call duties

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical oversight and coordination of care for residents
• Support and mentor nursing and care staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Conduct assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluations
• Develop care stregies based on each residents individual needs
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and impart clinical knowledge to junior staff memebers

Essential:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated experience in aged care, including dementia and palliative care.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and care planning skills.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication abilities.
• A collaborative approach in respect of your leadership style
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
