About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee our solar and battery projects across Australia. This role is ideal for someone who knows the trade, understands how a solar job really runs, and can lead teams to deliver quality installations safely, on time, and with great customer service.
As we expand into new regions, you’ll play a key part in onboarding and recruiting new electricians, roofers, and subcontractors, setting up local teams, and maintaining our strong company standards nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of solar and battery installations across multiple sites.
Schedule and coordinate teams, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth project delivery.
Lead, support, and mentor electricians, roofers, and subcontractors to achieve quality and safety standards.
Oversee onboarding and training of new trades and subcontractors as we grow into new regions.
Maintain clear communication between sales, design, warehouse, and installation teams.
Ensure compliance with CEC, network, and safety requirements on every job.
Track project progress, timelines, and costs to keep jobs on budget and on schedule.
Handle escalations and resolve issues quickly, maintaining a strong customer-first approach.
Monitor job quality, perform inspections, and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and energy providers.
Promote and uphold the company’s reputation for reliability, quality workmanship, and excellent service.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years’ experience in solar, electrical, or construction operations.
Solid understanding of solar PV and battery systems (residential and/or commercial).
Trade background (electrical or roofing) preferred.
Strong people management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Strong focus on customer service — you care about the customer experience as much as the finished job.
Well-organized, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Comfortable working both in the office and on-site when needed.
Valid driver’s licence and White Card required.
CEC accreditation or experience working with CEC installers (advantageous).
Why Join Us
Be part of a growing company leading solar and battery installations across Australia.
Great team culture built on respect, quality, and customer care.
Opportunity to shape operational systems and grow with the business.
Competitive salary and long-term career growth.
