About the role
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Administration Officer to join our dedicated team and provide vital support to the FMC Medical Imaging Department. In this pivotal role, you will be a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the smooth, efficient and patient-centred operation of one of the hospitals most critical departments.
Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining accurate records, managing enquiries, coordinating appointments, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy department. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills to directly contribute to providing optimal patient care outcomes.
About You
You are a self-motivated and adaptable professional with a proven commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support. You thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and bring a courteous, calm, and helpful approach, even under pressure.
- Proven experience in general office administration and client-facing roles. You can effectively manage competing tasks, use initiative and may meticulous attention to detail to meet strict deadlines in high-pressure settings.
- Demonstrated experience in providing high quality customer services, data entry and administrative support using Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, confident and culturally sensitive approach when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders
- A strong understanding of WHS, Equal Opportunity principals and general office administration best practices in client-facing roles.
