About the Role Be Recruitment is proud to be partnering exclusively with our client, a highly respected not-for-profit organisation, to appoint a Team Leader within their Family Preservation Program.

In this pivotal leadership role, you will manage and mentor a team of Case Workers, driving high-quality, trauma-informed and child-focused practice that supports families to stay safe, stable and together. You’ll oversee service delivery, compliance, and staff development while embedding evidence-based frameworks and programs across your team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and supervise a team of Family Preservation Case Workers
• Ensure caseloads, compliance, and program delivery standards are met
• Oversee referrals, assessments, and allocation processes
• Maintain fidelity to trauma-informed frameworks and family support models
• Drive quality improvement through quarterly improvement plans (QIPs)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners
• Ensure compliance with all legislation, contractual obligations and practice standards

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
• Proven experience in child and family social work at a senior practitioner or operational management level
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills in complex family contexts
• Strong understanding of child protection practices and risk management
• Experience working with vulnerable and diverse families
• NSW Driver’s Licence
