About the role
Crystel Care' is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalised behaviour support services to clients, Reporting to the Lead Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective behaviour support strategies, promoting positive outcomes for our clients.
What you'll be doing
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' behavioural needs and develop tailored behaviour support plans
Deliver evidence-based behaviour support interventions and therapies to clients
Collaborate with families, carers and other allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated, holistic approach to behaviour support
Provide training and guidance to support workers and caregivers to effectively implement behaviour support strategies
Maintain detailed client records and contribute to the continuous improvement of behaviour support services
Advocate for clients' rights and needs, and liaise with relevant authorities and stakeholders as required
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Behaviour Support, Applied Behaviour Analysis or relevant experience
Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
Demonstrated expertise in conducting functional behavioural assessments and developing evidence-based behaviour support plans
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment
Willingness to travel to regional and remote areas and work in a FIFO capacity
Current NDIS Commission Behaviour Support Practitioner registration
