Your new role

This night shift position offers the opportunity to join a leading logistics team that plays an essential role in supporting the company's overnight transport operations. The successful candidate will primarily operate an HR truck, completing multiple scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs across metropolitan and regional routes, with occasional HC driving requirements. This role is hands-on, requiring the safe handling and loading of freight items weighing up to 50-60kg, so physical fitness and attention to safety are essential. Working within a supportive, close-knit team, this position contributes directly to maintaining the company's reputation for dependable, high-quality service and timely deliveries. It's ideal for someone who enjoys working independently at night, values consistency and reliability, and takes pride in representing a well-established transport organisation committed to operational excellence and employee wellbeing.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Current HR licence with HC licence required for occasional regional runs
• Proven experience operating heavy rigid vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ability to safely handle and move freight items weighing up to 50-60kg
• Strong focus on safety procedures and adherence to transport compliance standards
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently during night shifts
• Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting and manual handling tasks
• Excellent attention to detail and load security awareness
• Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and professionalism
• Sound knowledge of local and regional routes
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
