About the Role

We're currently looking for an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team as a backup/relief driver for our CBD cardboard collection run.

Please note: Driving duties will be very uncommon. This role is primarily a yard-based position, supporting the team through truck cleaning, greasing, and maintenance tasks. Relief driving will only be required when our primary CBD driver is unavailable.

CBD Shift Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday (If required)

Depot Hand: Monday-Friday

Start Time: 5:00 PM

Shift Length: 4–5 hours per night

Location: Bettatrans Depot – 176 Francis Road, Wingfield

Backup / Relief Driver for CBD
You'll be responsible for safely driving an HR rear-load compactor truck alongside an offsider who manages collections from the curb throughout the Adelaide CBD.

Key Responsibilities

Occasional safe operation of an HR truck in the CBD

Routine greasing and cleaning of fleet vehicles

Assisting with truck presentation and light maintenance

Conducting vehicle pre-starts and end-of-day checks

Using a tablet to record runs (when covering driving shifts)

What You’ll Need

Essential:

Minimum HR Truck Licence

National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

Able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical
