We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team at Phoenix Contact Pty Ltd in the Eastern Creek, NSW location. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, utilising your expertise in welding and fabrication to contribute to the creation of quality products.

Responsibilities

Perform welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard, ensuring all work meets required specifications and safety standards

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents to guide your work

Operate various welding equipment and machinery with care and precision

Assist with the assembly and production of a range of metal parts and components

Conduct routine maintenance and basic repairs on tools and equipment

Collaborate with the broader production team to efficiently complete projects

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in welding or fabrication, such as a Certificate III or equivalent

Demonstrated experience as a Welder Fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing setting

Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety protocols

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
