4-Month Contract - Client-Side Role
Relocate to a beautiful regional community in North West NSW for an exceptional career-building opportunity working with a local Council.
Day Rate: Up to $1000 per day for an experienced candidate

The Opportunity
This is a client-side role, great for your CV, focusing on strategy, planning, and delivery of works. You will be instrumental in implementing best practice in Road Asset Management and delivery

What you'll do:

• Drive best practice in Road Asset Management, including condition inspections, strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and delivery of all asset-related works.
• Managing crews both internal and external on various transport projects.
• Provide an Asset Management-focused, whole-of-life approach to the maintenance, renewal, and repair of road infrastructure.
• Oversee and assist in the preparation of budget reports based on regular condition inspections.
• Represent Council in leading Roads and Pavements grant applications.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Civil) or Asset Management, or other appropriate related discipline, or relevant industry experience.
• Expertise in road asset management, including condition inspections and budget management.
• Demonstrated experience in leading, motivating, and supporting staff to meet organisational goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with crews, community organisations, and government utilities.
• Experience working in a Local Government setting is highly regarded.
