About the role

Carina Leagues Club Limited is seeking experienced Cooks and Commis Chefs to join our talented kitchen team on a casual basis. Based in Carina, Queensland, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and contribute to the exceptional dining experience we provide our members and guests.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of hot and cold dishes to the highest standards

Maintaining a well-organised and hygienic kitchen environment

Assisting in preparing dishes for our Functions department.

Adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety protocols

Collaborating with the kitchen brigade to ensure efficient service delivery

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Cook or Commis Chef, ideally within a busy hospitality environment

Formal culinary training or qualifications in Commercial Cookery

Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety, and kitchen operations

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure

A passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes

A team-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively
