CEM is a growing network, with 17 schools (including the Australian Christian College schools) and 3 early learning centres, in 5 states, and is also the largest non-government Distance Education and home schooling provider in Australia.
CEM’s national office is located on the Central Coast of NSW (Erina) and we are always on the lookout for individuals who are passionate about Christian Education and have relevant skills and experience to add value to our growing team.
About the role
This full time role provides essential support across all areas of human resources in the CEM group, helping ensure a positive, efficient, and Christian values-based workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and coordination support across all HR functions.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes for new staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with policy and legislation.
- Assist in preparation of employment contracts, variation letters, and HR correspondence.
- Support compliance processes, including Working with Children Checks, teacher registration, and staff training.
- Contribute to HR initiatives that promote staff wellbeing and professional growth.
- Provide courteous, confidential, and professional HR assistance to staff.
This full-time position reports to the HR Manager and is to start January 2026 (open to negotiation).

About you
You are relational, proactive, and dependable, with a heart to serve others through your administrative and organisational gifts. You enjoy working collaboratively, supporting colleagues, and contributing to a workplace culture that reflects Christ-centred values.
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated relevant experience and/or qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
- An authentic Christian faith and lifestyle, and a commitment to support the mission and values of Christian education.
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working within an educational or Christian organisational context.
- Proficiency with Apple Mac and HR information systems.
- Familiarity with HR compliance processes and employment legislation.
- An interest in learning and developing further within the HR field.
