We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Educators to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality support and instruction on an as-needed basis. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering care, supporting children's learning, and contributing to a positive play environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective activities based on the weekly program or guidelines provided.
Preparation: Prepare and organise learning and play materials, resources, and activities in advance of each session.
Student Engagement: Support and interact with Children, providing assistance, answering questions, and fostering a positive learning experience.
Flexibility: Be available to work on short notice, covering for absent staff or filling in as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive care environment. Our team is very closely bonded and we pride ourselves on a close working team.
Administrative Tasks: Perform basic administrative tasks such as observations, reflective journaling and incident/illness/injury reports, when required.
Qualifications:
MUST HAVE or be willing to obtain: Working with children's check and first aid/ CPR
Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in early education and care, a relevant subject area, or equivalent experience, though not required.
Experience: Previous experience with working with children preferred, though not required.
Skills/Attributes:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to different environments and children's needs.
Effective organisational skills with the ability to manage activities and play materials.
Creativity, though not required.
Love for children.
Working Conditions:
Casual, Part-time and full-time positions available
Work may be performed in various settings, including in-centre, excursions, or within the school.
Flexible hours with a variable schedule based on availability. Hours are between 7am-9am and 2pm-6pm in school term and between 7am-6pm in school holiday periods.
May require occasional evening work for staff meetings, bonding or training.
