Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is seeking passionate educators to join The Woods Early Education Centre (EEC). We have openings for:

• Lead Educator
• Apprentice
• Trainee
• Studying ECT

Schedule: Monday – Friday, up to 38 hours per week (flexible options available)
Location: Ashgrove
Compensation: Up to $50/hr + super + 10% retention (based on qualification and role)

Your Responsibilities:

As Lead Educator:

• Lead curriculum planning and program delivery for children aged 0–5 years
• Mentor and support Assistant Educators
• Foster inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environments
• Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and centre standards

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum)
• Current Blue Card
• Leadership experience and strong curriculum knowledge
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

As Early Childhood Teacher:

• Lead your team in creating and delivering an educational Kindergarten program fostering children’s learning and development.
• Prioritize children’s health and safety.
• Engage in joyful, educational activities, inspiring a love for learning.
• Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Sense of humour, strong work ethic, and reliability.
• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or actively pursuing one.
• Current Qld Blue Card.
• Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for children.

As Trainee & Apprentice:

• Assist in the care and education of children
• Engage in fun, play-based learning activities
• Support children’s health, safety, and well-being
• Work collaboratively with educators and families
• Help with daily routines such as meals, tidying, and activities

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Must be currently enrolled in high school
• Commitment to completing Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• Current Queensland Blue Card (or willing to obtain)
• Positive, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude
• Strong communication skills and reliability
