About the Role

We’re seeking a compassionate and highly organised Clinical Trial Coordinator to join our dedicated Ophthalmology Unit. In this rewarding role, you’ll play a key part in the delivery of innovative clinical trials and special access schemes that offer patients early access to cutting-edge medications and devices. Working across a wide range of subspecialties including Glaucoma, Retina, Neuro-ophthalmology, Oculoplastics, and Cornea, you’ll support pioneering research that has a real impact on people’s lives.

You'll collaborate closely with SA Pathology, pharmaceutical companies, and internal teams to identify suitable trial participants, coordinate appointments, and manage follow-up care. With a strong focus on patient education, data collection, and evidence-based best practice, you’ll help shape the future of eye health services. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your clinical expertise and research passion into a role that blends patient care with scientific innovation in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

About You

You’re a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong interest in clinical research and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Your ability to lead, innovate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team makes you an ideal candidate for this dynamic role.

Current registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA and minimum 3 years’ experience

Strong leadership, communication, and change management capabilities

Skilled in venepuncture, cannulation, data management and research coordination

Sound knowledge of GCP, ICH Guidelines, and research ethics requirements
