About the Role

The Team Leader Youth and Family Services is responsible for overseeing the Shire's new youth services model which will engage with partner organisations to deliver a mix of flexible, inclusive, and targeted services with and for young people.

Reporting to the Manager Community Services the core responsibilities include:

• Inspire and empower a dynamic team to oversee delivery of impactful youth services and activated youth hubs.
• Foster strong partnerships, grounded in collaboration and shared commitment, that drive innovation and positive outcomes for young people.
• Lead strategic planning and continuous improvement of a partnership model that responds to community needs and promotes long-term sustainability.
• Champion advocacy, research, and engagement initiatives that amplify youth voices and ensure service delivery is evidence informed.
• Lead planning, implementation, and evaluation of the L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program.
