ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you ready to lead curriculum innovation that shapes the future of Australia’s Defence technical workforce?

Wodonga TAFE is seeking a visionary Industry Curriculum Manager to drive excellence in Defence Technical Trades Training across our national subcontracting network. This is a rare opportunity to influence the standardisation and contextualisation of accredited training programs that directly support Navy and Army colleges.

Selected Duties:

Lead the development and oversight of cutting-edge, self-paced learning and assessment systems.

Chair national Communities of Practice (CoP), bringing together Defence educators and industry experts to share insights, explore emerging technologies, and elevate training standards.

Collaborate with subcontracting partners and Defence representatives to ensure training is current, relevant, and consistent across all delivery sites.

Drive curriculum innovation by integrating emerging technologies and industry practices into training design.

Represent Wodonga TAFE at national events and maintain strong commercial partnerships.

ABOUT YOU

Skills & Experience

A qualification in mechanical or fabrication engineering (Certificate III to Bachelor level) with relevant industry experience, as detailed in the Position Description.

A teaching qualification at AQF Level 6 or equivalent.

Current Australian Drivers Licence.

Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to gain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance

Experience in curriculum design and development, eLearning, and Defence training excellence.
