About the role:
- Provide medical leadership to a workforce of over 458 FTE across our regional and remote network of over 20 facilities.
- Lead a sustainable medical workforce by overseeing the vital functions of medical workforce recruitment, training and education.
- Build internal and external partnerships across other hospital and health services, the Department of Health, primary care networks and the private sector.
About you:
- You hold an MBBS (or equivalent) to enable registration with AHPRA and Fellowship with an Australian Medical Specialist College.
- You have executive-level experience and the proven capacity to strategically lead a large and diverse medical workforce in a regional setting.
- You successfully develop and foster strong, enduring professional partnerships and networks, both within the service and externally.
- You're a proven change leader who can successfully drive enterprise-wide transformation, encouraging collective effort and distributed accountability across the organisation.
- You possess high level of clinical knowledge and proficiency relevant to medical practice in a medium-sized regional hospital.
- You have extensive knowledge of workforce policy and processes and a deep commitment to improving clinical practice standards and quality improvement across the entire healthcare environment.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value between $353,788 - $543,581 p.a. is comprised of:
- A salary rate between $186,876 - $256,246 p.a. (L13 – L25)
- A salary rate between $215,078 - $271,430 p.a. (L18 – L27)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
