Permanent full-time position, 80 hrs p.f.

We are looking for an exceptional Psychiatry consultant to lead our Rural and Specialty Mental Health team as Medical Director within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

As a Sunshine Coast Health employee your salary includes:

• $8,244 - $9,546 p.f. (L18 – L24 Staff Specialist)
• $9,822 - $10,404 p.f. (L25 – L27 Senior Staff Specialist)

• $21,000 p.a. (L18 – L24 Staff Specialist)
• $25,500 p.a. (L25 – L27 Senior Staff Specialist)

• Base salary comprising of between:
• Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)
• Attraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salary
• Professional development allowance $21,500 p.a. (pro rata for Part-time)
• Generous superannuation of up to 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• Annual leave loading

The Medical Director, Rural and Specialty Mental Health will lead and provide high quality Psychiatry care for our community, with a focus on leading safe care, driving quality improvement and innovation, and collaboratively contributing to department growth and development within a multidisciplinary team.

In addition to your clinical and professional expertise, you must have skills in managing people, leadership and sustainable financial decision accountability.
