Highly respected and busy Tier 2 builder are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join the team working on a $200 mil resi project located on the city's fringe.

Must have solid Tier 1 or 2 experience on a similar size project to be considered for this role.

The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors including health, education, resi and commercial.

Responsibilities:

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
• Managing commissioning and project completion activities
• Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
• Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget
• Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
• Supervising a cadet and overseeing the QA and defects process
• Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer on projects over $100 mil
• Proven experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 Builder
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
• Reliable references
• Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role
• Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia

Salary up top $230k Package for the right person and will help with relocation costs if required.
