Role Overview

We are seeking an agile, hands-on Risk Manager to oversee high-risk operations across multiple centres in NSW. This is a site-focused role, not a strategic office-based position, and is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, moving between sites, and managing high-risk activities. The role focuses on operational risk management, crane lifts, façade removals, and other high-risk work, rather than traditional project management or SWMS review.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide risk oversight for multiple NSW centres, covering approximately 70% of the portfolio.
• Supervise high-risk activities such as crane lifts, façade removals, and other operational tasks.
• Travel between sites regularly to provide on-site support and guidance.
• Work flexible hours when required, including evenings, nights, or weekends for high-risk operations.
• Act as a practical, “go-getter” resource on the ground, embedding a safety-first culture.
• Support capital projects across the portfolio, focusing on operational risk rather than project delivery.

Requirements

• Proven experience in high-risk operational environments, preferably with large plant, crane operations, or façade works.
• Flexible, agile, and hands-on approach; not limited to standard 9–5 hours.
• Comfortable supervising and coordinating across multiple sites.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
