About the Role:

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety and availability of a modern fleet of heavy mining equipment, while also providing on-site support to rehabilitation, desilting and civil construction activities. This position is ideal for mechanically minded operators with field servicing experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Perform preventative and routine maintenance in accordance with RIISAM212E – Service Mine Plant and Equipment and OEM guidelines.

Conduct inspections, fluid top-ups, filter replacements, lubrication, hose changes and basic repairs.

Carry out equipment cleaning, fire risk mitigation and functional tests to ensure machinery is safe for operation.

Provide trade assistant support to our fitters as required

What We’re Looking For:

Current QLD Health Assessment

Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.

Standard 11 Statement of Attainment.

RIISAM212 – Service Mine Plant and Equipment

RIIVEH307 – Operate a Heavy Rigid Vehicle (or HR Driver’s Licence)

Mechanical aptitude with ability to assist fitters and maintenance teams

Demonstrated mine site experience (pass-outs or transcript history).

Strong commitment to safety, SHMS compliance, and environmental standards.
