Locum Speech Therapist Opportunities - Regional QLD, VIC & NSW

Rates: $60-$80/hr + super + CHRISTMAS BONUS🎄

Choose your role

1) Regional QLD - Coastal | Adult Community| $70-$80/hr + super + christmas bonus | ASAP-12 weeks
Adult caseload across community and aged care.You'll provide speech pathology assessment, therapy, and communication/swallowing interventions across home visits, outpatient, and community-based programs. Accommodation + travel provided.

2) Regional VIC - Coastal | Rural Generalist | $70-$80/hr + super + christmas bonus | ASAP -12 week contract
Paediatric outpatients, adult outpatients, acute/subacute ward cover, aged-care facility. Includes triage/diary management, occasional home visits, and onward NDIS referrals as needed. Clinical areas include phonological & language delays, dysphagia assessment/management, voice disorders, acquired communication impairments.

3) Regional VIC - Hospital/Rehab | Adult Communication & Swallowing | $70-$80/hr + super + christmas bonus| ASAP- 12 weeks
Adult sub-acute rehab focus. Work independently within a supportive MDT. Videofluoroscopy (VFSS) experience is highly advantageous (not essential). Accommodation + travel provided.

4) Regional NSW - Adult Acute | Sole Practitioner (support available) | $60-$75/hr | Negotiable start date, 6 weeks minimum
Independent adult acute role within a supportive service (backup available as required). Communication & swallowing focus. VFSS experience is highly desirable. Accommodation + travel provided.

5) Darwin - Paediatrics or Mixed Caseload | Regional Outreach work | $65-$75/hr + super + christmas bonus | ASAP 12 weeks or Janurary start

Private practice role Darwin based, paediatics or mixed. Opportunity to work within regional outreach communities across NT. Private luxury accommodation + travel provided one way.

What you'll need

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
• Current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) registration
• Recent experience aligned to your chosen stream (paediatric community / adult acute-subacute / rehab)
• Strong triage, prioritisation, and independent practice skills (especially for rural/generalist settings)
• Australian Working Rights- Working Holiday Visa's Welcome
