The SA Health Recruitment Drive for Health Professionals has been established to ensure that critical vacancies can be filled by suitably trained, interstate and overseas health professionals.
We are seeking expressions of interest from health professionals to fill vacancies across our LHNs and Statewide Clinical Support Services. More information about our locations and services can be found here, and our salaries and benefits here.
We are currently encouraging the following health professionals to express their interest:
Medical Practitioners
Medical Specialists including General Practitioners, Specialist Medical Officers and Doctors in Training who have, or are eligible for Ahpra (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration (please see ‘Professional Registration’ information applicant guidelines).
Specialty areas of particular interest are Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Medicine, Geriatrics, Intensive Care, Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Primary Health, Paediatrics/Neonatology, Mental Health and Surgery.
MDP Doctors in Training - PGY2; $89,253 - PGY8 $144,291 p.a. (pro rata) | Plus Professional Development Allowance, Professional Development Leave and Superannuation | Varying hours per week
MD2 Consultant Medical Staff; $227,591 - $299,884 p.a (pro rata) | Plus Professional Development Allowance, Professional Development Leave and Superannuation | Varying hours per week

Nursing and Midwifery
Roles include Registered Nurses, Midwives, Dual Registered Nurses and Midwives, and Enrolled Nurses who have, or are eligible for Ahpra (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) registration (please see ‘Professional Registration’ information applicant guidelines).
We are seeking applications from Nurses for the majority of specialty areas. You will have opportunity to identify your area of experience or interest through the application form.

Allied and Scientific Health
Roles including Psychologists, Audiologists, Dental Therapists, Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists, Orthotists/Prosthetists, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Social Workers, Sonographers, Radiographers, Perfusionists and other Allied Health Professionals.

AHP1 - AHP6 $71,217 - $159,050 p.a. (pro rata), plus Superannuation | Varying hours per week, Term and Ongoing appointments
Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) employed at SA Health are entitled to a range of attractive benefits (subject to eligibility criteria and conditions), including
- professional development allowance and reimbursements
- regional incentives
- additional qualifications allowance.

The salaries provided indicate the incremental range per the relevant Enterprise Agreement. These amounts are exclusive of superannuation.

Eligible internationally qualified Medical Practitioners of NZ, UK and/or Ireland (who have specialised in Anaesthesia, General Practice, Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Psychiatry), and Registered Nurses (of NZ, UK and/or Ireland) who have registered and practised in an-approved comparable international jurisdiction may be eligible for expedited pathways to Registration in Australia.
