The Opportunity:

We’re seeking a skilled and reliable Packer / Heat Shrink Wrapper to join a specialist 3PL and project logistics operation based at the Port of Brisbane. This is a diverse, hands on role working with unique industrial and project cargo destined for major infrastructure and mining projects across Australia and overseas.

You’ll work alongside a tight knit warehouse team supporting daily operations including heat wrapping, container packing, and cargo handling with full training and a pathway to permanent employment for the right person.

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Measure and cut heat wrap materials to size and securely wrap cargo for export
• Operate heat wrapping equipment to seal and protect large and high value freight
• Conduct warehouse operations for road, sea and air freight projects
• Safely load and unload containers and manage yard cargo movements
• Assist with container planning, manifesting and DG labelling where required
• Operate forklifts and assist in flat rack packing and load securing
• Support daily warehouse tasks including stock movements and inventory checks
• Follow all HSEQ and ISO procedures & stop the job if safety is at risk

👷 What You’ll Need:

• Current LF Forklift Licence (required)
• Reach Stacker licence advantageous (but not essential)
• Experience with container forklift operations preferred
• Background in warehousing or project logistics environments (mining, oil & gas or heavy industry highly regarded)
• Strong manual handling skills and physical fitness for indoor/outdoor work
• Ability to read and follow procedures, complete documentation accurately
• Strong teamwork ethic, reliability and commitment to safety
• Must be able to pass drug & alcohol testing and obtain a Criminal History clearance

🕒 Shift & Pay:

• Day Shift | 7 am start
• Hourly rate: $34.33 - $37.50
• Temp to Perm pathway for high performers
