Casual $45 per hour. $50.40 per hour including Super

Salamanca Whisky Bar is a busy bar, known as a hidden gem and has established itself in showcasing Tasmanian whisky and traditional cocktails over many years. We now wish to add a new hospitality professional to our small intimate venue. High energy levels and attention to detail is key to the success of this position. The position duties encompass every aspect of the venues operation ,including ; customer service, cocktail making, cleaning and sharing of Tasmanian whisky knowledge. Our staff take pride in their presentation.

We are a highly capable mature team and known for providing exceptional quality drinks in a fast paced busy environment. We admit we are a bit different to most other bars, higher wages , close at midnight, provide table service to seated guests. We have day shifts and night shifts.

Whisky is definitely our thing, we create an atmosphere every night of the week that is inviting and truly representative of a sophisticated whisky venue and every detail is considered.

We are looking for:

Engaging personality with high energy and attention to detail;

Impeccable personal presentation, representative of a high caliber cocktail bar;

A passion to make and deliver guests the best cocktails;

A history of a harmonious and respectful work attitude towards all employees at all levels;

An interest in whisky and ability to immediately step up the pace during a busy service period.
