This new appointment is a strategic hire—an opportunity to take on a senior design leadership role within a practice that offers genuine long-term career progression.

ABOUT THE ROLE
An experienced Associate or Senior Associate Landscape Architect who combines creative design leadership with strong project management capability. The ideal candidate will be someone looking to build a deeper understanding of the commercial side of a design business, with the full support of an approachable and hands-on senior management team.
This is a critical role within the studio, with the opportunity to step up and take on greater responsibility as the practice continues to expand. For the right person, there’s a clear pathway to Director level down the track.

DUTIES

• Lead and manage complex landscape architecture projects from concept to delivery.
• Provide design direction and mentorship to a talented team of emerging designers.
• Oversee project programs, budgets, and resources to ensure commercial success.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
• Contribute to business development and help shape the growth strategy of the Sydney studio.
• Work with senior leaders on operational and strategic initiatives to strengthen the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Degree-qualified Landscape Architect with 8+ years’ experience, ideally within a multidisciplinary or design-focused environment.
• Proven experience leading design and delivery of large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong conceptual design ability combined with technical and delivery know-how.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially astute, with a desire to expand your understanding of business operations.
• Confident, proactive, and collaborative leader with a genuine passion for design excellence.
