Who we are:
The Griffith Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol team is the second largest of six Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol teams across Murrumbidgee LHD. The Community Mental Health Drug and Alcohol team has approximately 15 multidisciplinary clinicians and a range of support staff, who provide Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drug services, across the life span from a site in Yambil Street.
We work closely with MyStep and other community organisations to ensure people receive the right care for their needs. At a district level we have access to clinical leaders for Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drug and other specialty services such as Aboriginal Mental Health, eating disorders and Perinatal Infant Mental Health.
What you’ll be doing:
The Child and Adolescence Mental Health Clinician role involves the assessment, evidence-based treatment and case management of children and adolescents, who are referred to the service with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses. This can include behavioural disturbances and prodromal syndromes requiring early intervention.
This position is based within a multidisciplinary community mental health team.
