As a Mechanical Engineering Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping both our projects and our people — owning outcomes from concept to completion while mentoring and guiding a talented team. This is a strategic senior hire designed to fuel our next stage of growth.

What You’ll Do

Lead a 4-person team of drafters and designers, providing both technical and people leadership.

Deliver engineering analysis, certification, and compliance with Australian Standards.

Take ownership of mobile and fixed plant design, and drive technical analysis of mechanical systems.

Manage project planning, estimation, and execution to deliver high-value outcomes for clients.

Act as RPEQ signatory, ensuring quality and compliance across projects.

Partner with clients from the manufacturing and resources sectors, translating technical insight into real-world solutions.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

CPEng, RPEQ, NER, or immediately eligible.

8+ years’ engineering experience (consulting highly regarded).

Deep expertise in first-principles engineering and technical analysis.

Proven leadership drive — able to inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.

What’s On Offer

Remuneration $160,000 – $190,000 (tailored to skills and experience).

Based in our Emerald office (Central Highlands, QLD) with relocation assistance or drive-in/drive-out options.
