The Leak Detective - A well-established swimming pool leak detection and repair company are looking for a keen candidate who is looking for a career in swimming pool leak detection and repairs and is hoping to grow their skills within the industry.

This role is a diverse full-time position where you will be assisting in leak location, PVC and pipe repairs including the use of power tools, manual excavation, patchwork, concrete, tiling, repair part auditing and customer service.

Candidates must hold a provisional driver's licence or higher.

Experience in leak detection preferred but not essential. Willing to train the right candidate. The hourly rate listed is for experienced candidates where as someone who requires training will be at $25hr with rapid increase upon reaching milestones. Permanent role offered to the right candidate.

Ideally, you will be a reliable, punctual, professional person who works well in a team environment, has the ability to follow instructions who is customer focused and friendly.

You will need to be available to work full time and enjoy working outdoors.

Strong communication with external suppliers and customers.

Effective time management and prioritisation skills.

High attention to detail when determining possible leaks.

Ability to write an acceptable quotation for repair.

Ensure a clean site after repair work is completed - including but not limited to a clear trench backfill and all rubbish and debris is cleared.

Dispose of all rubbish from each work site prior to leaving site.

Ensure all tools are retrieved and returned to vehicle after job is complete.

Ensure filtration is in working order and time set if applicable, pool gates shut and secured.

Ensure quote and repair work is clearly communicated to customer prior to work commencing.
