This is a unique opportunity to make your mark on a new and growing area of staff wellbeing within Corrections Victoria.

As one of five new senior onsite clinicians in this pilot program, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting staff mental health and helping to reduce workplace psychological injuries.

You will:

Lead the delivery of a new, evidence-based wellbeing program designed to improve mental health outcomes for Corrections Victoria staff.

Provide clinical support, coaching and early intervention for staff experiencing stress, trauma or mental health challenges.

Build strong, trusting relationships with staff at all levels to reduce stigma and encourage help-seeking behaviour.

Support wellbeing teams through supervision, mentoring and reflective practice, ensuring consistent, quality care across the site.

Deliver education and training on workplace wellbeing and contribute to the long-term growth and evaluation of this pioneering program.

About you

You must be registered with AHPRA or a member of the AASW with at least four years of experience after registration (or equivalent). It's also an advantage if you're trained in supervision, reflective practice, or Psychological first aid and have clinical or forensic experience. You must hold a current Victorian driver's licence.

You should also have:

Strong experience supporting people's mental health and wellbeing at a senior level.

Deep understanding of different treatment models and how to work with people who have complex needs.

Proven ability to deliver results, lead teams and manage complex clinical cases with good judgement.

The flexibility, resilience and openness to adapt your approach and guide others in challenging situations.

Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks, which may include national police checks and misconduct screening.
