Take Twos program provides training, consultation and reflective practice to the wider Children and Family Services sector and conducts and disseminates evaluation research on Take Two’s therapeutic services. Take Two is a flagship site of the Child Trauma Academy implementing the Model of Neurosequential Therapeutics to guide intervention planning.
- Full time (or part time considered), Permanent role
- Hybrid role with a local office base at either Shepparton Office on Yorta Yorta country or Seymour on Taungurung Country
- Base Salary $116k + superannuation & salary packaging

About Therapeutic Foster Care
Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) is an enhanced model of foster care that provides additional specialist training and support to foster carers. Providing foster carers access to therapeutic specialists will enable carers to better understand and develop strategies to best meet the needs of the child or young person in their care.
This is a new program working alongside a small team of Foster Carers, Case managers and Clinicians.
As a Senior Clinician – Therapeutic Foster Care, you will
- Carry a case load of clients who are at various stages of the episode of care, such as assessment, treatment and closure. Therapeutic work can range from short to long term.
- Have a leadership role in the team and support the Clinical Team Leader, including building and maintaining important partnerships and supporting the team to meet key performance indicators.
- Conduct assessments and develop therapeutic treatment plans with clear goals that are reviewed regularly.
- Work cooperatively with the system that sits around the child – child protection practitioners, education providers, health providers, care givers and family, with a focus on advocating for the dignity and human rights of the client.
We are looking for a passionate and values-driven Senior Clinician with:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field. A post-graduate degree is preferred.
- Experience conducting trauma and developmentally informed clinical work with children and young people.
- Passion for being strength based and trauma informed.
- Experience in Child Protection and Out of Home Care sector
