About the role
You will provide strategic, educational and operational leadership for a thriving community-managed, not-for-profit early learning centre that combines long day care, sessional and extended-hours kindergarten under one roof.
Collaborating with a proactive Committee, you will ensure excellence in governance, financial stewardship and compliance — while empowering your educators to bring learning to life through reflective practice, professional autonomy, and joy.
You will champion a nature- and community-rich curriculum, inspired by the service’s celebrated and awarded environmental learning programs. This is a space where curiosity thrives, connection is visible, and leadership is relational.

Requirements
ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification (Degree or Diploma)
Minimum four years’ experience leading an early learning service (Centre Director or Nominated Supervisor)
Proven success in NQF compliance, continuous improvement and people leadership
Proven success in leading a service through A&R
Well-developed business acumen, ability to interpret financial data, &L
Strong governance, budgeting and organisational skills
A values-driven approach where relationships, pedagogy and community impact come before profit
