About the role

VK Lawyers is seeking a motivated and experienced Lawyer to join our dynamic team in Cranbourne West, Victoria. As a Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality legal services to our diverse clientele, contributing to the firm's continued success and growth. Your key focus areas will be Commercial, Conveyancing, Family, Wills and Probate.

What you'll be doing

Advise clients on a wide range of legal matters, including contract drafting, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance

Conduct legal research and analysis to support the development of effective legal strategies

Prepare and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and court filings

Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiate settlements on their behalf

Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations, and guide clients accordingly

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective delivery of legal services

Contribute to the firm's continued growth and development through client development and business initiatives

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Law qualification

Experience in general practice legal areas, including commercial, conveyancing, family law, wills and probate, is an advantage

Strong experience in at least 2-3 of the four practice areas (commercial, conveyancing, family law, wills and probate) is required

Minimum 3 years of experience post-admission in a law firm

Must be admitted to practice law in Victoria

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and exceptional client service

Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
