About the Roles
Two exciting opportunities await experienced Quality Assurance Officers to join our Hilton Foods Quality team at our Bunbury site. As the QA Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuous quality improvement at our manufacturing facility. Your
responsibility will be to guarantee that Hilton Foods delivers safe, compliant, and high-quality products that meet our customer's specifications.
Hours of Work
There is one AM position and one PM position available
AM: 38 ordinary hours per week worked between the hours of 4.30am and 6pm
PM: 38 ordinary hours per week worked between the hours of 12pm and 12am
Your responsibilities will include:
•Collaborating closely with Production Managers and team members to maintain compliance with our Quality Systems at all times.
•Managing routine internal and external communications with key stakeholders.
•Maintaining and updating quality assurance records and relevant documented materials.
•Educating and assisting the team in understanding Food Safety & Quality requirements.
•Providing administrative support to quality processes, including supplier compliance actions.
•Coordinating quality assurance activities, such as testing, quality reviews, and factory audits.
•Implementing the QA framework through collaborative efforts with others.
•Analysing trends and quality-related data sets, including extracting data from relevant QA systems.
•Escalating issues as they arise and working as part of a united team.
•Maintaining quality-related data (e.g., testing, reviews) for analysis and reporting in accordance with the QA framework.
•Testing products for flavour, colour, taste and texture
•Contributing to the development of quality control procedures and safety standards
•Supports Australian standards for packaging
•Implementing controls for auditing food handling and hygiene during storage, processing and packing
About You
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual who possesses the following qualifications and skills:
•Experience in Food Manufacturing, Food Safety, and Hygiene, with experience in the Meat Industry being highly regarded.
•Qualified with a diploma or degree in Food Science or equivalent qualifications
•Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role (Experience in Meat industry highly regarded)
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Knowledge of HACCP and its application.
•Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and planning abilities.
•Basic computer skills.
•High attention to detail and accuracy.
•Ability to work well under deadlines.

Pay and Benefits...
The annualised remuneration for these full-time positions begins at $74,000 per annum plus superannuation and will range up to $85,000 per annum with shift loading and allowances.
