A national organisation is seeking an experienced Facilities & Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of key assets across Queensland. This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity, managing both day-to-day operations and the delivery of capital works across multiple sites.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient healthcare facilities while leading a small team and coordinating external contractors, consultants, and project partners. With a mix of operational leadership and project delivery, this role suits someone who enjoys variety and accountability across multiple disciplines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing facility operations, maintenance programs, and asset compliance across multiple hospital or healthcare sites
• Leading the planning and delivery of capital works, refurbishments, and infrastructure upgrades
• Managing budgets, timelines, and quality outcomes for all projects
• Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Ensuring all works align with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
• Supporting long-term asset planning, sustainability, and risk management initiatives

About you:

You’re a hands-on facilities leader who combines technical knowledge with clear communication and commercial awareness. You have a background in managing complex assets across healthcare and can confidently lead both maintenance and project delivery teams.

• Demonstrated experience in facilities and asset management across multiple healthcare sites
• Strong project management and contractor coordination skills
• Sound understanding of WHS, compliance, and building systems
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and reporting capability
• Relevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, construction, or related discipline
