Join a Mining Workshop Team in the Pilbara

Our client is a rapidly growing, vertically integrated mining and civil contractor with active iron ore projects across Western Australia. With a large fleet of mobile plant operating at their Pilbara site, they are now seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join the on-site mining workshop team.

This role is FIFO from Perth on a 2:1 roster, working exclusively on mobile plant equipment.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for tyre fitting, inspection and maintenance of a range of heavy mobile equipment, including:

CAT 777 Dump Trucks

CAT 980 Loaders

D10/D11 Dozers

Komatsu Excavators

Ancillary mobile plant

Your duties will include:

Removing, refitting, rotating and inflating heavy equipment tyres

Inspecting and identifying wear, damage or pressure issues

Performing basic on-site tyre repairs where required

Operating tyre handlers and heavy tooling in accordance with site safety protocols

Completing accurate reports and defect logs

Supporting general workshop tasks and mobile plant maintenance teams as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology – Essential

Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter in a mining or heavy earthmoving environment

Current C Class driver’s licence – HR highly regarded

Ability to work safely and independently in a workshop setting

Good physical fitness and attention to detail

Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening

Available for immediate FIFO mobilisation from Perth
