HD Mechanical Fitters

We are seeking suitably qualified HD Fitters to join our team working on Rio Tinto Sites in Western Australia. Our clients are a mixture of Owner operator, Mining contractors and industry leading field maintenance contractors.

What's On Offer

  • 8:6 and 2:1 Rosters Available
  • $70-$85 an hour
  • FIFO from Perth airport to site
  • Full time roles
  • Immediate starts, fast mobilisation to get you started in your new role
  • Interstate Labour Hire Accepted
  • FIFO From Perth Only

About the role

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to all vehicles as required
  • Perform fault finding, repairing and or replacing of components as required
  • Mechanical assembly of machines and components
  • Sound understanding of workshop and equipment

Skills & experience

  • Trade Certificate (Australian Recognised)
  • At least 2 years HD Fitter experience - Hytorcs, radial mills, XY Mills, Hitachi.
  • Replacements on engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screen
  • Valid C class driver's licence, HR is preferred
